Demand Planning Manager - Associate level (Manufacturing, Purchasing)

Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the trading business. Support the Purchasing Planning Manager in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather purchasing requirements and create purchase orders. Monitor and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. Utilize SAP system to process purchase requisitions, track inventory levels, and generate reports. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Assist in supplier audits and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry developments and best practices. Provide support in executing strategic sourcing initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Prior experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a trading business. Proficiency in SAP or other procurement software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
