As part of your career development, you may be rotated to the following functions: Reintegration Group • Partnership@YR – Community Partnership, Employer Engagement and Media & Advocacy. • Aftercare@YR – Community Relations & Engagement, Programme & Admin and Sector Planning. • Skills@YR – Employability Training and Industry Training. • Careers@YR – Career Coaching and Career Guidance. Corporate Development Group • Strategy@YR - Strategic & Corporate Planning, Resource Planning, Organisation Development & Staff Engagement and Policy, Research & Analytics • Corporate Services@YR- Finance and Administration • People@YR - Strategic HR, Career Development & Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Recruitment and HR Business Partnership One of YRSG’s mandate is to uplift ex-offenders through skills training and career development. Employment is key to inmates’ and ex-offenders’ successful reintegration into the society. At Communications & Partnership@YR, collaborations are forged with like-minded partners such as industry players, employers, professional organisations and training providers, with the aim of ensuring there are sufficient career opportunities for ex-offenders. The key responsibilities for this job include: • Build and manage partnerships with industry stakeholders, trade associations and chambers. • Support Careers@YR in connecting job-seeking inmates with potential employers. • Organise and execute engagement platforms including events, dialogues, and focus group discussions. The role impacts workforce development by creating bridges between job seekers and employers through strategic partnerships and initiatives. Outcomes include increased employment opportunities, enhanced skills training programmes, and stronger industry partnerships. • Diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences or any other relevant diploma • Minimum 1 year experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management. • Strong networking skills with experience in organising engagement activities such as events, dialogues and focus group discussions. • Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage partners at all levels. • Passion in serving the rehabilitation and aftercare sector. • Demonstrates strong initiative and proactiveness in identifying and pursuing partnership opportunities. • Exhibits diplomatic and tactful behaviour when managing diverse stakeholder interests. • Displays genuine curiosity and interest in understanding partners' needs and challenges. • Shows empathy and emotional intelligence in building and maintaining relationships. • Demonstrates reliability and follows through on commitments made to partners.
