WorkJio and ApplyLah both help people looking for work in Singapore. The important difference is what happens after you find a suitable vacancy: who prepares the application, who sends it and what you can track afterwards.
TL;DR
WorkJio is a practical option for browsing Singapore vacancies and preparing applications you send yourself. ApplyLah 2.0 connects its large job database with ranking, tailoring and supported auto-applying to roles you approve. Access to that 2.0 workflow is gated.
| Compare | WorkJio | ApplyLah 2.0 |
|---|---|---|
| Main use | Find Singapore jobs and prepare applications you review and send. | Find and rank jobs, tailor materials and progress approved applications. |
| Job database | 10,078 currently listed jobs in Singapore. | 65k+ jobs per month on average (company-reported). |
| Job search | Part-time, gig and full-time roles; employer and career-site listings. | Search and matching for Singapore and Asian jobs, across career stages. |
| Resume support | Free resume builder; Jio prepares role-specific materials. | Public resume review; 2.0 tailors materials to selected jobs. |
| Sending | You review and send each application. | 2.0 auto-applies to supported jobs you approve, when enabled. |
| Progress | On-platform statuses; external applications saved with follow-up reminders. | Application tracking with employer confirmations recorded separately. |
| Access | Public job search; sign-in for resume tools and applications. | Public resume review; 2.0 waitlist and separately invited private beta. |
| Pricing | Applying is free. Jio Plus: S$1.90/3 days once per person, S$6.90/7 days or S$14.90/30 days; no renewal. | Public resume review; 2.0 pricing and allowances not announced. |
* Job inventory, checked 6 November 2026: WorkJio homepage. WorkJio's live jobs page showed 10,078 listings on 6 November 2026. Its public filters do not offer a posting-date window, so this is current board inventory, not a measured monthly posting total. ApplyLah reports a 65k+ monthly average; figures retain their stated periods and geography. See the counting method.
* Main use & features: WorkJio resume builder, tracking policy and ApplyLah 2.0. Published capabilities, not an authenticated benchmark.
* Pricing & access: Jio terms and ApplyLah public resume review. Broader ApplyLah 2.0 access is waitlist/private beta; public pricing is not announced.
What is WorkJio?
WorkJio is a Singapore job board covering part-time, gig and full-time work. It includes roles posted by employers and openings collected from company career pages. Its search offers local filters such as proximity to MRT stations, weekend work and mid-career-friendly roles.
Its free resume builder accepts an existing file or a description of your work and produces a one-page PDF, in English or Chinese. It requires sign-in. That is separate from Jio's role-specific preparation service.
What is ApplyLah?
ApplyLah is built for job seekers across career stages, focused on Singapore and Asia. A large job database sits at the centre of its discovery and matching workflow.
ApplyLah 2.0 connects finding and ranking roles with preparing materials, auto-applying on supported employer systems and tracking applications. You approve suitable jobs; support depends on the employer site and the information it requires.
The resume review is publicly accessible. The broader 2.0 workflow has an early-access waitlist and separate private beta invitations. Joining the waitlist does not immediately unlock every feature.
Comparison
Pricing & access
WorkJio separates applying from paid preparation. Its Jio pricing page lists three initial preparations free, then one per week, with free preparation on paying employers' jobs. Plus allows up to five per day and interview preparation: S$1.90 for three days once per person, S$6.90 for seven days or S$14.90 for thirty days. These are one-off passes, not renewing subscriptions. Check the current terms before paying.
ApplyLah has not announced public launch pricing or allowances for 2.0. It would be misleading to assign it a free unlimited plan or calculate a cost-per-application winner.
If you need a downloadable resume now, compare WorkJio's free builder with the task you actually have. ApplyLah's public review gives feedback on an existing resume; reviewing and building a resume are different tasks.
Finding Singapore jobs
WorkJio's job search distinguishes jobs applied to on WorkJio from company-career-site openings. Its AI explanation describes matching skills and experience to requirements, including ranking search results. It also distinguishes automated suggestions from employers' hiring decisions.
ApplyLah's discovery and ranking serve a wider Singapore-and-Asia search across career stages. Its large database matters because automation is only useful when there are suitable roles to apply to.
Database totals are not a reliable shortcut to choosing between them. Search for your actual role, location and seniority, then check the employer's original vacancy. This review does not declare either database larger or fresher: we have not measured equivalent live inventories.
Preparing & sending
WorkJio's published process prepares a job-specific resume, letter and screening responses for your review; you send the application. It does not describe unattended submission.
ApplyLah 2.0 includes supported submission after you approve a role. That is a meaningful difference if completing employer forms is your main bottleneck. It is still conditional on site support, access and having the required candidate information.
WorkJio's AI policy describes extracting skills and experience from your profile. ApplyLah likewise uses established candidate facts for application materials. In either workflow, review personal facts and claims about experience before relying on the output.
Tracking replies
WorkJio's published policy says untouched on-platform applications close after fourteen days with a notification. For external applications, the employer handles the process; WorkJio saves the application and provides follow-up reminders.
ApplyLah tracks application progress and recorded employer confirmations separately. A saved application, a completed submission and an employer's hiring decision are different events. Compare which event a status represents, rather than treating every tracker entry as proof that an employer received your application.
A Singapore workflow
Imagine you have several years of customer-service experience and want a weekday office role in Singapore. Your constraints are the duties, working hours and commute. This is an illustrative decision exercise, not a test using live results from either product.
- Find the right work. Search both databases for customer-support or operations roles. Check duties and hours before using the tools to prepare anything.
- Choose where to apply. On WorkJio, check whether the listing is handled on-platform or sends you to an employer site. For ApplyLah 2.0, check whether the application system is supported and available to your account.
- Make your experience relevant. Bring forward genuine enquiry handling, coordination and record-keeping. Do not add management responsibilities or results you cannot support.
- Confirm the next step. With WorkJio, review and send. With enabled ApplyLah automation, approve the role and review the recorded outcome; address any missing information rather than assuming submission succeeded.
Which should you choose?
Start with WorkJio if you want an accessible Singapore job board, a free resume-building route and optional preparation while retaining the send step yourself.
Explore ApplyLah 2.0 if you want discovery, tailoring and supported application automation connected in one Singapore-focused workflow. Its access restrictions matter: it is not an immediately available substitute for every public WorkJio tool.
You can browse WorkJio's jobs, review your resume on ApplyLah or join the 2.0 waitlist. Choose the next step that matches your current bottleneck.
Sources & method
Job-count methodology, 6 November 2026: ApplyLah reports an average of 65k+ jobs per month, confirmed by its team on 6 November 2026. An average across months is different from one specific window: a separate read-only snapshot counted 41,471 Singapore-eligible postings from 7 October, 09:52 SGT to 6 November 2026, 09:52 SGT, excluding suppressed and known-dead records. That snapshot does not independently establish the monthly average or unique live-vacancy count. Competitor figures retain their published geography and definition: monthly averages, 30-day postings and current board totals are distinct measures.
Prepared by ApplyLah on 5 November 2026 from WorkJio's public pages: overview, jobs, Jio and pricing, resume builder, AI policy and trust and tracking policy. ApplyLah descriptions reflect its published product information and current scope.
The Jio page was inspected in a separate browser without signing in. Accounts, payment, generated documents, status notifications and submissions were not tested. Prices and allowances can change. No inventory, accuracy, speed or hiring-outcome benchmark was conducted.
