Software Developer

Responsibilities: · Responsible for reviewing/understanding requirements and develop CL/RPG programs with DB2 in AS400 · Responsible for AS400 system environment setup for new server/apps/country · Responsible for build of interface file layout in AS400 with the Connect Direct setup to file sending/receiving with source system in various platforms. · Responsible for development of job schedules that integrate the upstream and downstream systems (e.g. Control-M) · Responsible for unit testing, debugging, and performance testing, with key focus on data accuracy and integrity · Accountable for on-time delivery of all documentation, design, build, testing, and deployment according to the work breakdown structures · Work with production support teams as required to support production activities, including production migrations, continuity testing, environment migration activities · Must have impeccable written and oral communication skills down to the functional/technical documentation level · Ensure that documentation is captured, maintained, understood by and available to business and/or IT partners · Escalate critical technical issues and potential problems as needed to the Project Manager to address any related issues in advance of deadlines Key Requirements: · Should be independent, quick learner and team player · Able to work independently with minimum guidance · Have good communication skills (to work with various levels) · Minimum 6 years or above with the relevant banking experience · Proficiency in AS400 CL and RPG programming with AS400/DB2 · Experience working on AS400 system setup · Experience Job scheduling tools like Control-M · Good to have experience in Change Control Management tools & Visio · Have experience on all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) · Able to do requirement gathering, impact analysis, unit testing, support SIT/UAT/Production · Able to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment Angeline Aw Kwee Choo (R24125869) A-IT Software Services Pte Ltd EA License No: 24C2345 “By submitting your application for this position, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by A-IT Software Services and its recruitment partners, including Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd, for the purpose of i) employment facilitation and ii) data and statistic alanalysis.
