Veterinary Assistant

AAVC - ANIMAL & AVIAN VETERINARY CLINIC is a companion animal clinic serving dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds, reptiles, and terrapins. They seek ONLY (SG/PR) Nparks-AVS licensed veterinary surgeons and (un)trained veterinary technicians or nurses. Job Summary Support veterinary care by preparing surgical rooms and patients, assisting in treatments, operating diagnostic machines, managing patient admissions and discharges, and maintaining clinic hygiene. Responsibilities Prepare surgical rooms and patients to ensure readiness for veterinary procedures Restrain animals of various breeds safely during examinations and treatments Assist veterinarians in treatment procedures to support animal care Operate laboratory diagnostic machines to perform tests and obtain results Manage admission and discharge processes for animal patients accurately Conduct stock taking to maintain adequate clinic supplies Maintain clinic hygiene to ensure a clean and safe environment Perform occasional administrative duties to support clinic operations Other Information Working hours: 5 days per week, approximately 35 hours weekly Flexible work arrangements available Evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts possible subject to mutual agreement Training will be provided ONLY SHORTLISTED APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED FOR AN INTERVIEW Starting salary as stated.
