About this role

Key Responsibilities Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, braking, steering, suspension, and air-conditioning faults. Carry out preventive maintenance according to manufacturers' recommendations. Replace defective parts and components using appropriate tools and equipment. Conduct engine tune-ups, oil changes, brake servicing, tyre replacement, and wheel alignment. Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults. Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain accurate service records and repair reports. Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures. Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe. Support fleet maintenance planning and minimize vehicle downtime. Liaise with customers or internal departments regarding repair status and recommendations. Assist in emergency breakdown repairs when required Requirements Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates with appropriate training are welcome to apply). Good knowledge of petrol and diesel engines. Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic scanners and repair equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams. Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence (preferred). Team player with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
