Communications Executive

About the Role We are seeking a proactive Communications Executive to support AKC’s internal and external communications across corporate messaging, brand communications, and stakeholder engagement. This role will be responsible for developing communication materials, supporting public-facing content, and helping maintain a clear, professional, and consistent brand image across different platforms. Responsibilities Develop and implement communication materials for internal and external use Support the company’s brand image and public communications efforts Prepare press releases, corporate write-ups, media materials, and presentations Work closely with management to align communications with business goals and target audiences Assist in drafting messaging for campaigns, announcements, and company updates Coordinate communication-related projects and support stakeholder engagement efforts Monitor industry trends, media mentions, and relevant developments Handle communication enquiries and support response coordination where needed Prepare briefing materials and presentation content for leadership Preferred Competencies and Qualifications Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills Good organisational and project coordination abilities Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and consistency in messaging Experience in communications, content, public relations, or a related area is an advantage Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation preparation
