We are partnering with an established organisation within the marine solutions sector to identify a Senior Business Development Executive to drive regional growth across Asia. This role will play a key part in expanding market presence, strengthening distributor networks, and delivering commercial success within the marine industry. Key Responsibilities Drive achievement of annual sales revenue and market share targets across assigned Asian marine markets, aligned with overall business objectives. Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with regional distributors, shipowners, shipyards, and marine service providers as the key point of contact. Monitor distributor performance using structured evaluation tools, identify capability gaps, and implement targeted improvement initiatives. Conduct regular market visits to ports, shipyards, and customer sites to assess business performance, uncover growth opportunities, and support distributors in executing effective strategies. Design and deliver product and sales training programmes focused on marine applications to enhance distributor capabilities. Collaborate with distributors on branding, merchandising, and participation in marine exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to maximise visibility. Develop strong insights into marine market dynamics, vessel operating cycles, and customer needs to support accurate sales and demand forecasting. Prepare and present monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. technical service, supply chain, and finance) to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and effective resolution of customer issues. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marine, or a related discipline. 5–8 years of experience in regional sales, business development, or distributor management within the marine, maritime, or offshore sectors. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage shipowners, operators, and distributors across diverse regional markets. Experience working with marine equipment, lubricants, parts, or technical solutions will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with distributor/dealer network development within the marine industry is preferred. Exposure to tender processes, shipyard projects, or offshore contracts will be an added advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
