About this role
Roles & Responsibilities Reports to the CEO. Responsible for the operations and P&L of Assisted Living. Will be very hands-on starting this from ground-up. Care staff at each site will report to this role, hands-on leadership isexpected. Seek and fully understand the relevant mechanics behind setting up a siteincluding all relevant legislations and laws. Handle set-up of each site in terms of CAPEX and manning. Setting up the processes and documentation for the entire operations. Needs to fully understand the requirements for staff trainings andcompetencies. Develop operational and safety standards and ensure training and compliance. Work with the team to develop weekly programming for clients and trainingon operational processes for staff. Work with various teams on channels of distribution to promote AssistedLiving. Reach out, find and liaise with potential clients, explaining the serviceand sites. Keep abreast of each client, their care plans, social profiles and medicalneeds. Serve as the main Point-of-contact (POC) for clients/NOK regardingadministrative matters, emergencies, feedback and suggestions. Provide timelyand appropriate responses and actions (if any). Managing the staff roster to ensure adequate coverage in service delivery. Be onsite in emergencies to support the team and clients in managing thesituation. Conduct weekly physical inspections to ensure service quality includingadherence to SOPs, house rules, general cleanliness & safety standards. Any other ad-hoc tasks related to Assisted Living assigned. Preferred Skills Solid ability to adapt fast and be flexible when required. Hands-on and meticulous with an eye for details. Organised and able to prioritise. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven statistics and business acumen. Qualifications, Education, Experience and Operational Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred. At least 3 years of leadership experience preferred. Physically fit as some lifting is required and will be on the move most days. 5 days work week, office hours, weekends and PH may be required.
