Manufacturing Engineer /Process Engineer

Job Summary Prepare and manage manufacturing process documentation and coordinate production activities to meet customer specifications and schedules, supporting continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities Prepare process routers and work packages from engineering drawings and customer specifications to guide production activities Create balloon drawings and identify inspection points from technical drawings to ensure quality control Release workorders promptly to align with production schedules and meet customer requirements Maintain and update process routers, CNC programs, and drawing revisions to reflect current manufacturing standards Coordinate outsourced (farm-out) processes to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to secure timely availability of raw materials and components Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements to manufacturing efficiency and productivity Required competencies and certifications Understand metal machining processes, process sequencing, heat treatment, and surface coating to support production planning Interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and GD&T to ensure accurate manufacturing instructions Preferred competencies and qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to manage documentation and communication Knowledge of SAP systems to facilitate production and inventory management Demonstrate planning, problem-solving, and coordination skills to manage workflow and resolve production issues Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
