The Opportunity Opportunity to work for one of the leading financial service providers and top banks Great exposure to learn about banking products and services domain Central Location The Job The team within Group Finance is responsible for the valuation of the bank’s fair value products and supports the Global Financial Markets (GFM) business in financial accounting and controls, advisory, strategy, and planning. We are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about driving positive change in the workplace. The successful candidate should have strong capabilities in internal controls and governance, as well as a keen interest in data mining and analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities • Consolidate, report, and provide commentary on the daily P&L of T&M to Senior Management. • Prepare monthly analyses and performance commentaries for the front office. • Assist in delivering quality control KRIs and highlighting areas of concern. • Perform control quality assurance reviews. • Drive enhancements to strategic data analytics tools (e.g., KRIs and business analytical tools). • Participate in and support ad-hoc projects. The Talent • Degree in Accountancy or a Finance-related discipline, with experience in MIS or financial reporting within the banking industry. • Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of the business environment and attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise complex issues effectively. • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment while managing multiple priorities. • Strong innovative and inquisitive mindset. • Quick learner with a positive attitude towards initiating and driving change. • Good knowledge of banking products, particularly treasury-related products. • Good visualisation skills using MS Office tools, Advanced Excel, and Tableau, with a strong willingness to learn.
