About this role

Job Summary Manage and maintain critical data centre infrastructure to ensure operational continuity and safety. Coordinate maintenance, respond to alarms, and support emergency activities while adhering to security and incident management protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC, fire suppression, and structured cabling to ensure continuous operation Manage relationships with data centre/building landlords to ensure timely preventive maintenance and compliance with safety regulations Respond promptly to alarms and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure swift resolution Coordinate maintenance schedules and address building infrastructure issues in collaboration with landlords and vendors Support off-office hours activities by responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating emergency repairs with vendors Enforce strict adherence to data centre physical security procedures to protect assets and personnel Follow documented incident response procedures, track incidents to closure, and communicate status and outcomes to stakeholders Generate and deliver management reports, including monthly performance, incident summaries, root cause analyses, and project status updates Required competencies and certifications Minimum 5 years of experience in data centre facility management Experience working in a high-pressure environment with 24x7 on-call responsibilities Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fire suppression systems in data centres Strong understanding of incident, problem, and change management procedures based on ITIL best practices Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in data centre operations Prior experience working in data centre operations within financial institutions Preferred competencies and qualifications Knowledge of structured cabling systems and rack-and-stack procedures If interested, you can click on “Apply here” or write an e-mail to Deeksha.agarwal@adecco.com with your updated resume.
