About this role

Role: As a Murex Test Lead, you will lead quality assurance and testing delivery for large-scale Murex programs within complex capital markets environments. You will be responsible for defining test strategy, leading teams, and ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet business, regulatory, and operational expectations. Key Responsibilities · Define and own the overall test strategy, governance model, and delivery approach for Murex programs · Lead end-to-end testing across system integration, UAT, regression, performance, and cutover phases · Manage and mentor test leads and analysts to ensure consistent standards and delivery quality · Partner closely with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to validate requirements and resolve defects · Oversee defect management, prioritization, and resolution across multiple workstreams · Provide clear testing status, metrics, and risk assessments to program and client leadership · Ensure testing activities comply with regulatory, risk, and control requirements in banking environments Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, or a related field · Minimum 8+ years of experience in testing within banking or capital markets environments · At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Murex (MX.3), covering trade lifecycle, risk, and reporting modules · Proven experience leading testing teams on large-scale Murex implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs · Strong understanding of financial products such as FX, interest rate derivatives, equities, or credit products · Demonstrated experience in test management, defect tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication · Strong leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills Preferred Qualifications (Optional) · Experience with Murex upgrades, migrations, or regulatory-driven initiatives · Exposure to test automation frameworks or performance testing tools · Experience working with global banking or financial services clients If interested, you can click on “Apply here” or write an e-mail to deeksha.agarwal@adecco.com with your updated resume.
