Dental Nurse/Dental Assistant Job Title Dental Nurse Job Summary We are looking for a caring, organized, and dedicated Dental Nurse/Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The successful candidate will assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, maintain high standards of infection control, and support the smooth operation of the clinic. Key Responsibilities Assist dentists during dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before each appointment. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols. Provide chairside assistance during various dental treatments. Ensure patient comfort and offer reassurance throughout treatment. Take and develop dental radiographs (where qualified and permitted). Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes. Monitor and replenish clinical supplies and inventory. Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Support the clinical team with administrative duties as required. Requirements Relevant experience in a dental clinic is preferred. Good knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Team player with a positive attitude. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer literacy. Preferred Skills Experience with dental practice management software. Knowledge of dental terminology. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
