Adyen's Office Infrastructure team is looking for a versatile senior system Administrator with a hands-on attitude and a proactive mindset. Our global infrastructure team, based out of Amsterdam, manages everything from office networks and ISPs to meeting rooms, access control, and workstations. We are expanding our technical presence in the APAC region to ensure our technology is a competitive advantage—globally consistent, flawlessly reliable, and completely intuitive for every employee. As our primary physical IT presence in APAC, you will act as a central point of contact for the region while collaborating closely with the core team in Europe to maintain a true "follow the sun" support model. What You’ll Do Lead the physical IT deployment and ongoing infrastructure support for our APAC offices and coordinate with other global office expansions. Manage local ISP relationships and maintain regional network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi) to ensure high availability for all employees. Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot modern physical office infrastructure, including meeting room AV setups, digital signage and CCTV. Act as the primary technical escalation point in the APAC timezone, diagnosing and resolving office infrastructure challenges for your colleagues with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Act as the hands-on engineering expert for the Singapore office. Working in tight collaboration with our global infrastructure team in Amsterdam, you will help monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain our local network, Wi-Fi performance, AV spaces and workstation setups. Create comprehensive documentation and actively train global team members to ensure knowledge is shared across time zones. Manage local vendor relationships and supervise third-party contractors during office build-outs or hardware upgrades. Who You Are You are an independent team player, comfortable being the primary technical point of contact in a region while collaborating seamlessly with a global team. You consider yourself a versatile "jack-of-all-trades" with a hands-on approach to problem-solving across networking, systems administration, and hardware troubleshooting. You are an excellent communicator capable of managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver projects on time. You have a strong ability to adapt, learn new systems quickly, and advocate for new feature enablement rather than waiting for external requests. You are willing and able to travel occasionally to support other regional offices. You have proven experience with: Meeting Room AV: Installing and supporting modern video conferencing and digital signage solutions. Networking: Deploying and troubleshooting Wi-Fi, switches and firewalls. Physical Security: Managing enterprise access control and surveillance camera systems. Systems & MDM: Administering UNIX-based systems (macOS and Linux) and MDM tools (such as JAMF). Internal Services: Navigating and supporting enterprise tools like Google Suite, OKTA, LDAP, and Zoom.
