Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Responsibilities Support our engineers with drawing and documentation; and tasks when required Provide support on tasks and projects assigned, including but not limited to: - Develop and build prototypes and run tests to measure their level of function - Calculate cost estimates for final product designs, and release reports to supervisors, incorporating costs of labour, material, delivery and overhead - Record and evaluate testing data, altering designs and necessary to bring them to safety, performance and efficiency standards - Design products using CAD, and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible - Work with control engineer to optimize the sequence flow through the design optimization - Design for manufacturing DFM - Project management and participate in assembly, installation, operation, troubleshooting of equipment - Prepare BOM, Operation Manual, Training Manual, etc. Job Requirements Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Open to fresh graduates or candidates with minimal experience Candidates with design experience in equipment precision design and automation, preferably in Semiconductor Industry, is advantageous Willing to support work outside of office hours when required
