Tailor

Key Responsibilities: Take accurate body measurements for custom garments. Cut, sew, alter, and repair clothing and other fabric items. Read and interpret garment patterns and design specifications. Fit garments and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit. Operate and maintain sewing machines and other tailoring equipment. Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and materials for each project. Inspect finished garments to ensure quality standards are met. Perform minor repairs such as replacing zippers, buttons, and hems. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate with customers or supervisors regarding tailoring requirements and deadlines. Requirements: Proven experience as a Tailor or Seamstress. Proficiency in operating industrial and domestic sewing machines. Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and tailoring techniques. Ability to take accurate measurements and perform fittings. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication and customer service skills.
