Job Summary Perform and certify routine maintenance and defect rectification on Boeing 787, 767, and 777 aircraft, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards and coordinating with global teams to maintain operational safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform and certify routine maintenance checks and defect rectifications on Boeing 787, 767, and 777 aircraft to ensure operational safety. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft systems and engines to maintain airworthiness. Identify and resolve quality and safety issues during maintenance processes. Maintain high airworthiness standards during inspections and maintenance activities. Inspect completed work and conduct operational and functional tests to verify defect rectification. Sign off all maintenance tasks and comply with Airworthy Release requirements. Coordinate maintenance services with external providers to ensure timely and effective repairs. Report maintenance progress and issues regularly to headquarters in Tokyo for alignment and compliance. Manage and maintain tools and equipment stores to support maintenance operations. Support and perform maintenance engineer duties at overseas stations as required. Required competencies and certifications Possess a valid aircraft maintenance license with expert knowledge of Boeing 787, 767, and 777 aircraft engineering and maintenance. Hold a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a related professional field in aircraft maintenance from an accredited university. Have over 20 years of airline engineering experience in the aviation industry. Possess qualified certification from Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB), recommended for compliance with civil aviation regulations. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel for reporting and communication. Exhibit proficiency in English and Japanese, including writing, reading, listening, and speaking, to coordinate effectively with Tokyo headquarters. Ability to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive maintenance situations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive working relationships. Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
