About this role
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Aircraft Planner to join our dynamic engineering support team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our aircraft repair and modification projects run seamlessly by forecasting material needs, coordinating logistics, and ensuring strict compliance with aviation documentation. Key Responsibilities Production Planning: Plan, schedule, and stage required parts, materials, and specialized equipment to support upcoming aircraft repairing and modification projects. Procurement Coordination: Work closely with the Purchasing/Procurement team to track order statuses, expedite urgent parts, and ensure zero downtime due to material shortages. Documentation & Compliance: Review, prepare, and print all necessary engineering work packages, task cards, and technical paperwork required for planned maintenance tasks. Tooling & Equipment Management: Verify that all specialized tools and ground support equipment required for the workplan are available, calibrated, and serviceable before production begins. Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily operational adjustments, progress reporting, and other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in project coordination, production planning, or logistics (experience within the Aviation/MRO sector is highly advantageous). Technical Skills: Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) for inventory tracking and data entry. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced hangar/workshop environment and commit to rotating shifts (if required by the operational schedule). Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between purchasing and engineering teams, with a sharp eye for detail.
