Chief Equipment Engineer

Overview / Responsibilities Execute Equipment Group work scope in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards Review Datasheets, Material requisitions for the defined static equipment Review of Vendor’s quotations, prepare Technical Bid Evaluations and recommend the final technically acceptable Vendor Review of Vendor Drawings and Documentation as per relevant Technical Practices Coordinate with inter-discipline staff on all technical issues to arrive at appropriate resolution Correspond with the Vendor on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary Thermal Design of Heat Exchangers will be an added advantage Skills / Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15-20 years of experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical projects Knowledge of Static Process equipment Well versed with international codes & standards Well versed with Static Equipment software like Pvelite, Tank Possess good interpersonal skill with sound written & oral communication skills Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive 12+ years’ experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or pharmaceutical projects Proven leadership in design and engineering teams for FEED, PMC, and EPCM projects Strong knowledge of engineering procedures, specifications, and standards Ability to lead and motivate multi-discipline teams
