Job title: Field Service Engineer –Semiconductor Equipment Job description: This is a unique opportunity to workworldwide to support of a well-known semiconductor equipment manufacture. As afield service engineer you would be deployed in countries such USA, Taiwan,Korea, Ireland, Germany, China, Singapore… Installation and commissioning of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance within established timeframes. Apply diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers Proactively recognize electrical/mechanical abnormalities and potential safety problems and take appropriate action. Use knowledge management systems. Follows all IP guidelines. Assume responsibility for complete customer satisfaction within work area. Comply with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – electrical or mechanical engineering Ability to understand electronic and mechanical systems, detail orientated Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English. A plus is having direct experience with OEM semiconductor equipment or equivalent. Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods of time. (> 1yr deployment.) Strong communication - Able to communicate effectively to all levels of the division, with the various inter-divisional engineering groups, customers, vendors and cultures.
