Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing Position Title: Shipping Assistant Manager (Export Documentation) Working Location: Beach Rd (Near Bugis) Working Hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (9am-5.45pm) Salary Package: Basic Salary $6,500 + VB Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Handle pre- and post-shipment documents like invoices, packing lists, L/C documents, and customs certificates as per customer requirements. Stay informed about changes in international trade and shipping regulations. Identify and address compliance risks related to shipping documents. Implement procedures to mitigate compliance issues and ensure accurate documentation. Work with internal teams (shipping, logistics, ICS) to ensure smooth export processes. Communicate with customers and external parties to gather information and resolve issues or discrepancies. Keep accurate digital and physical records of all export documents and related correspondence. Ensure records are ready for periodic audits to prevent delays or customs issues. Analyze current documentation workflows to identify inefficiencies. Develop and implement improvements to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and reduce costs. Collaborate with IT, logistics, and ICS teams to improve system integrations. Establish KPIs to monitor and improve process effectiveness. Train and guide shipping staff on documentation procedures and compliance standards. Help develop and implement policies and procedures. APPLY NOW!!! Higher diploma or professional certifications.
