Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Chemical Position Title: Maintenance Engineer Working Location: Tuas (Walk distance from MRT) Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm) Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport & Mobile Allowance + AWS + VB Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Support the planning and coordination of preventive maintenance activities, including IMTE / calibration for plant equipment. Assist in organizing and coordinating scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance for building systems and utility facilities. Carry out hands-on maintenance tasks and simple electrical work where required. Participate in feasibility studies and planning for the installation of new equipment and facility upgrades. Coordinate with and supervise external contractors for maintenance and repair works. Prepare and compile approval documentation, equipment training materials, and installation submissions for relevant government authorities and internal processes. Support spare parts inventory management, including obtaining quotations, negotiating pricing, and processing purchase orders. Assist the Technical Department in carrying out the company’s EHS initiatives and activities. APPLY NOW!!! Diploma/ Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. At least 3 years of related working experience, preferably within a chemical manufacturing environment. With understanding of electrical systems and/ or instrumentation. (LEW certification will be an added advantage) Basic to working knowledge of PLC, SCADA & HMI systems, including ability to perform basic troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. Familiar with Risk Assessment and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). With understanding of EHS practices, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards.
