Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer for Semi-Con Industry Position Title: NPI Engineer Working Location: Loyang Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5.30pm) Salary Package: Basic $3,000 – $3,800 per month + AWS + VB Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate NPI activities from prototype stage to production readiness. Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements. Liaise with customers and internal teams on technical clarification, project timeline, and production feasibility. Prepare and maintain NPI documentation such as process flow, work instructions, BOM, routing, and inspection requirements. Coordinate prototype builds, trial runs, first article activities, and sample submission. Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Purchasing teams to resolve technical and process issues. Support engineering change activities and ensure proper implementation of changes. Monitor project progress and escalate risks or delays when necessary. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, cost, delivery, and process efficiency. Support ad hoc activities at Seletar when required for Loyang project-related work, including cleanroom-related activities where applicable. APPLY NOW!!! Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related discipline. Min 1-3 years of relevant experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or project engineering. Experience in precision engineering, CNC machining, aerospace, semiconductor, or related manufacturing environment will be advantageous. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, process planning, tooling, fixtures, and inspection requirements. Experience with First Article Inspection, engineering change control, and production documentation will be advantageous. Knowledge of GD&T, CMM inspection, or dimensional inspection will be an added advantage. Cleanroom exposure will be advantageous. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in Loyang and supporting ad hoc activities at Seletar when required.
