Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer for Semi-Con Industry Position Title: Sales Engineer Working Location: Seletar (Islandwide) Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri: 8am-5.30pm) Salary Package: Basic $3500 - $4500 + VB Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain good relationships with existing customers while looking for new business opportunities. Promote and sell the company’s precision engineering and manufacturing services, including machining, fabrication, assembly, and other value-added processes. Understand customer technical requirements, specifications, drawings, and quality expectations, and work with internal teams to provide suitable solutions. Prepare and submit quotations, cost estimates, proposals, and tender documents on time. Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with customers. Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Monitor order status, delivery schedules, and project progress to ensure timely fulfilment and customer satisfaction. Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and quality issues, and support corrective actions when needed. Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management review. Achieve sales targets, gross margin objectives, and key performance indicators set by the company. APPLY NOW!!! Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of sales, business development, or customer service experience in the precision engineering, machining, metalworking, semiconductor, aerospace, or related manufacturing industry. Good understanding of CNC machining, fabrication, engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, materials, surface treatments, and manufacturing processes. Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks responsibly. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience in preparing quotations, cost estimates, and commercial proposals will be an advantage.
