Database Administrator (Dba)

Database Administrator (DBA) We're looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize mission-critical database systems. In this role, you'll ensure high availability, performance, and security while working closely with development and project teams to support reliable business operations. Key Responsibilities Install, configure and maintain SQL Server, Oracle and other database systems Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance and availability Manage backups, disaster recovery, replication, clustering and failover solutions Implement database security, user access controls, and ensure compliance with security best practices Collaborate with developers on database design, schema optimization, and performance tuning Perform database upgrades, patching and maintenance to ensure system stability Optimize SQL queries, indexes and database configurations to improve initiatives Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases. Experience in database performance tuning, optimization, backup recovery, and high availability solutions (e.g. Clustering, Mirroring, Always On Availability Groups) Good understanding of database security, access management and data protection best practices Experience with SSIS/ETL and SSRS reporting.
