Assistant Manager (Recruitment Operations & Talent Research) | Government Sector

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support the Talent Acquisition function within a government organisation. This role offers a balanced exposure to both Recruitment Operations and Talent Research , making it ideal for candidates with recruitment coordination, HR operations or talent sourcing experience. Key Responsibilities Recruitment Operations (50%) Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers Arrange interview logistics, including booking meeting rooms, coordinating interview time slots, contacting candidates, administering assessments and collecting interview documents Conduct and administer reference checks Support candidates through security clearance processes Prepare and send candidate outcome notifications, including rejection emails, while maintaining accurate records Track staff referral cases Support onboarding activities and provide recruitment administrative support as assigned Talent Research (50%) Research and identify suitable local and overseas talent pools to build longlists for current and upcoming hiring needs Support the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing and screening candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, direct outreach and other recruitment channels Requirements Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline Prior experience in Recruitment Operations, Talent Acquisition or HR Administration will be advantageous Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals and other talent sourcing platforms Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with candidates, hiring managers and external stakeholders Meticulous with strong attention to detail, particularly when handling reference checks, security clearance processes and recruitment documentation What's in it for you?
