Solution Architect, Cloud Integration (Contract) Location: Singapore Contract Type: 12-month contract (Extendable & Convertible) Keywords: Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, System Integration, Government Projects, DevSecOps, Stakeholder Management Company / Role Overview This role sits within a technology delivery environment supporting large-scale digital initiatives across regulated sectors, including public sector programmes. The position focuses on leading the design and execution of secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions, acting as a key interface between business stakeholders and engineering teams. You will play a central role in shaping architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with governance standards, and guiding delivery teams through complex system implementations in a multi-stakeholder environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design of enterprise-level solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term technology strategy Engage stakeholders across business, technical, and regulatory functions to gather requirements and translate them into scalable architectural designs Define and govern solution architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments, ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and best practices Provide technical leadership to delivery teams, including design reviews, mentorship, and oversight of implementation quality Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendors, particularly across cloud and integration ecosystems Develop and present architecture artefacts, including solution blueprints, roadmaps, and proposals, to both technical and non-technical audiences Support early-stage project activities such as solution scoping, cost estimation, and risk assessment in pre-sales or planning phases Stay updated on emerging technologies, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends, particularly within highly governed environments Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Must-have) Minimum 7 years of experience in technology roles, including at least 3 years in a solution architecture or technical leadership capacity (Must-have) Proven experience designing and delivering complex digital solutions across domains such as digital services, customer platforms, or large-scale transformation programmes (Must-have) Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform and familiarity with cloud-native, microservices, API-driven architectures, and DevSecOps practices (Must-have) Solid understanding of system integration patterns, modern development pipelines (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code), and secure solution design (Must-have) Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and communicate effectively across both technical and business audiences (Must-have) Experience working within regulated environments and managing multi-vendor delivery landscapes (Must-have) Prior exposure to public sector projects, government technology standards, or formal architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) would be advantageous (Nice-to-have) If this role aligns with your experience and career goals, please send your application to AviralBhargava@argyllscott.sg .
