This is a critical role in a global organisation to ensure governance, compliance, and consistency globally. Responsibilities Define procurement policies and delegation of authority to establish sourcing standards and quality gates Lead governance activities including Category Councils, Quarterly Value Reviews, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to procurement standards Develop and publish procurement methodologies and playbooks; maintain should-cost models and market fact packs to support sourcing decisions Establish Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks including segmentation, Quarterly Business Review (QBR) cadence, and scorecards to enhance supplier performance Drive supplier development and corrective action standards in collaboration with Quality and Operations teams Align procurement strategies with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) and design-to-cost initiatives Set and monitor annual cost targets (Cost Negotiation Initiatives) for each portfolio to achieve financial objectives Implement Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Total Value Optimization (TVO) levers such as should-cost analysis, value engineering, and index/foreign exchange mechanisms Maintain clause libraries and contract templates in partnership with Legal; provide guidance on contracting playbooks Monitor supplier risks including financial, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), cybersecurity, and geopolitical factors; develop continuity plans Own data models and spend analytics; create and maintain value tracking dashboards to inform strategic decisions Required competencies and certifications Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement or category management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role Willingness to travel globally up to 20% Preferred competencies and qualifications Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech manufacturing sourcing Strong strategic thinking and business acumen to manage complex procurement environments Excellent leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills Deep understanding of sourcing strategy, contract law, and supplier performance management Proven negotiation skills at executive supplier level Interested applicants, please kindly email your updated resume to marketing@aristos-search.com .
