Company Description Armour Publishing is a book publishing company specialising in Christian, General, Education and Children genres. Role Description We are looking for ambitious, motivated and result-oriented individuals to be an Editor in our dynamic Editorial Team. As an editor, your responsibilities will encompass a range of crucial tasks aimed at refining manuscripts to their highest potential. You'll wield your editorial prowess to meticulously review and polish manuscripts, ensuring they adhere to our quality standards. Responsibilities Edit manuscripts for content and language. Handle all editorial responsibilities, including developmental editing, copyediting, proofreading and copywriting across digital and print formats. Assist in projects including but not limited to liaising with stakeholders, authors, translators, editors, graphic designers, printers to ensure timely project delivery and deadlines are met. Evaluate book ideas and assist in the planning of new titles. To ensure that the progress report for all titles within his/her responsibility is updated and reported to the stakeholder(s) as appropriate. Requirements Fresh graduates and students are welcome Degree in English Language/Mass Communications/Journalism and/or Postgraduate Diploma in Education Well-organised, meticulous and have strong initiative Possess strong and proven project management skills Able to deliver high-quality work under demanding deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
