About Us: Smart Science Lab is dedicated to nurturing a love for learning through engaging, hands-on enrichment programmes in science and mathematics. We work with students from primary to lower secondary levels, helping them explore, discover, and build strong foundations beyond the classroom. Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science and Math Enrichment / Coding Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering creative, interactive lessons to students in preschool, primary and secondary levels. If you enjoy teaching young learners, can simplify complex topics, and has the energy to create an engaging classroom environment, you are the one we are looking for! Key Responsibilities: Conduct engaging and age-appropriate science and math enrichment classes for primary and secondary students. Deliver lessons based on our curriculum or support the development of new lesson plans and materials. Provide individual support and guidance to students as needed. Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents where applicable. Maintain a positive and safe learning environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. Required Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Prior teaching or tutoring experience with children aged 4–12 preferred. Strong command of English (spoken and written). Skill Sets: Classroom Management – Ability to maintain discipline while fostering an engaging learning atmosphere. Communication Skills – Clear and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues. Lesson Planning – Able to design structured, age-appropriate, and interactive lessons. Subject Knowledge – Strong foundation in science and mathematics concepts for primary and secondary levels. Student Engagement – Ability to motivate and inspire students through fun, hands-on, or inquiry-based learning. Adaptability – Flexible in teaching styles to suit different learning needs and environments. Time Management – Efficient in planning, conducting lessons, and managing administrative tasks. Creativity – Use of innovative teaching tools or activities to make learning enjoyable. Teamwork – Collaborative mindset to work with peers and contribute to programme development. Tech Savvy – Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., slides, interactive apps, video conferencing) to support teaching. Preferred Qualities: Experience in enrichment centres or non-mainstream teaching environments. Creative teaching methods or experience with project-based learning.
