Optometrist (Clinic)

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions. Operate ophthalmic diagnostic equipment (e.g. OCT, fundus camera, slit lamp, tonometer, visual field analyser). Explain examination findings and recommend suitable optical solutions. Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary. Provide contact lens fitting, education, and aftercare advice. Maintain patient records, manage inventory, and ensure proper equipment maintenance. Supervise junior staff and support clinic operations as required. Requirements Diploma in Optometry. Eligible for provisional, conditional, or full registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) . Good clinical, communication, and patient care skills.
