About this role

AMP Singapore offers internship opportunities to a number of students each year, with internship durations ranging from three to six months. Our Community Engagement department is currently looking for interns who are available to start in August. Main Duties & Responsibilities 1. Professional Engagement & Community Building Support the design and execution of engagement strategies to connect with Malay/Muslim professionals across diverse sectors and career stages. Support the coordination professional networking events, dialogues, and mentorship initiatives under the Muslim Professionals Collective (MPC) ecosystem. Actively contribute ideas to strengthen AMP’s positioning as a platform for professional growth, collaboration, and community impact. 2. Sectoral Network Development & GUI Support Serve as a key liaison to Ground-Up Initiatives (GUIs) and sector-based networks, supporting their operations, growth, and alignment with AMP’s goals. Provide strategic and logistical support to emerging GUI leaders, including coordination of activities, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. Assist in identifying new sectors and professionals with potential to develop into sustainable community-led platforms. 3. Digital Engagement & Strategic Communications (AMPx) Develop and manage digital content for AMPx platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to promote engagement, highlight professional voices, and enhance AMP’s online presence. Propose and execute digital campaigns that align with AMP’s strategic messaging and outreach objectives. Monitor engagement data, generate reports, and recommend content or platform improvements based on analytics. 4. Leadership Pipeline & Talent Mapping Assist in identifying and tracking high-potential professionals for leadership pathways within the AMP ecosystem and externally (e.g. boards, advisory groups, committees). Support the coordination of leadership development activities, including speaker engagements, mentoring sessions, and nomination processes. Maintain structured records of leadership placements and emerging talents for strategic planning. 5. Operational & Strategic Support Ensure smooth execution of all professional engagement initiatives by managing timelines, logistics, documentation, and vendor/stakeholder coordination. Draft proposals, reports, and presentation decks to support internal discussions, funding applications, and stakeholder communications. Contribute to programme evaluations and strategic reviews by gathering data, synthesising feedback, and proposing improvements.
