About this role

About ASUS AICS is part of ASUS, a multinational company known for the world's best motherboards, PCs, monitors, graphics cards and routers. Along with an expanding range of superior gaming, content-creation and AIoT solutions, ASUS leads the industry through cutting-edge design and innovations made to create the most ubiquitous, intelligent, heartfelt and joyful smart life for everyone. With a global workforce that includes more than 5,000 R&D professionals, ASUS is driven to become the world's most admired innovative leading technology enterprise. About AICS The mission of ASUS Intelligent Cloud Services (AICS) is to build revolutionary healthcare solutions with natural language processing, computer vision, and big data analytics. We provide Software as a Service (SaaS) application to accelerate the effective use of medical data and improve the efficiency of hospital operations, unleashing the power of data for precision healthcare and bringing transformative impact to the industry. The Role We are building AI-driven web applications that streamline healthcare workflows — and we're looking for engineers who take ownership from concept to production. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll build responsive interfaces in Vue.js, design and operate backend services in TypeScript or Python, and work on active agentic orchestration systems that translate user intent into coordinated multi-step workflows. This is real work, not a roadmap item. The work evolves quickly — you'll be expected to grow with it. Responsibilities Own features end-to-end — from responsive Vue.js interfaces to backend services in TypeScript or Python, through to deployment and beyond. Build and operate agentic orchestration pipelines that coordinate multi-step AI workflows in production. Work across the data layer — relational databases, Elasticsearch, ETL pipelines — doing what it takes to keep data reliable, performant, and well-structured. Work within applicable healthcare data privacy regulations and contribute to secure-by-default engineering standards. Pick up new tools, frameworks, and domain knowledge as the product evolves — we hire engineers who grow with the problem, not just the job description. Qualifications 3+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on delivery of full-stack applications in production — or fewer years with demonstrably strong fundamentals and a clear track record of self-driven learning. This role can grow with the right engineer. Solid, job-relevant computer science fundamentals: you can reason through async concurrency, write efficient queries with an understanding of what the planner is doing, and design clean API contracts under ambiguous requirements. Proficiency with TypeScript and Vue 3 (or React), including component architecture and reactive state management. Strong backend experience in TypeScript or Python. Strong Pluses Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into applications — calling model APIs, building pipelines, or working with orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph. You've built something with an LLM API — a prototype, a script, a side project — and you can speak to where it worked and where it broke down. Healthcare domain experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Who You Are We value engineers who approach ambiguous problems methodically — who understand the problem before reaching for a solution, and who can turn vague requirements into concrete plans without needing the path spelled out. You learn things before you're asked to. You actively explore new technologies and ideas outside of what your current role demands — not because it was required, but because you're genuinely interested in where the industry is heading. We value engineers who communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners, and who treat that skill as part of the job, not a soft extra. You work with care in high-stakes environments. The pressures in this role are real — shipping in a regulated domain, maintaining reliability in systems that touch clinical workflows, and managing ambiguity without losing momentum. We don't expect perfection; we expect ownership and good judgment.
