A Construction General Foreman is responsible for supervising all on-site construction activities, coordinating workers and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily construction site operations. Coordinate and oversee foremen, skilled trades, and laborers. Plan work schedules and assign daily tasks. Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project plans. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Monitor work quality and ensure it meets project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors. Track project progress and prepare daily reports. Manage materials, equipment, and workforce efficiently. Identify and resolve construction issues and delays. Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings. Ensure housekeeping and site organization are maintained. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required). Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred). Trade certification or vocational training is an advantage. Experience 8–15 years of construction experience. At least 3–5 years in a Foreman or General Foreman role. Experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
