The Company Atomionics is a startup that builds quantum sensors for subsurface exploration and universal navigation. Our sensors generate 3D models of the Earth’s subsurface to pinpoint critical resources, enable GPS-free positioning, and detect earthquakes and volcanic activity. Responsibilities Own projects on PCB design, development, assembly, and testing to required hardware specifications R&D and PCB design for manufacturing and system integration Electronics system assembly and building our next generation gravimeter Supporting physics & firmware teams in cross-functional projects Propose and implement new innovative solutions and technologies About you Ideally experience with numerous electronics projects (personal or otherwise) to showcase Practical experience in schematic capture and PCB design layout using KiCAD Analog and digital circuit design Prototyping and debugging of boards Assembly and performance testing of PCBs Component knowledge and selection System design with microcontrollers/microprocessors Knowledge of interfaces including SPI, I2C, RS232, Parallel, USB, CAN & SATA Demonstrated passion for emerging technologies Good to have Circuit design for power electronics Experience with electronics design for signal processing Firmware, embedded systems, and programming experience FPGA & DDS experience Keen attention to detail and creative problem solving What we can offer you A chance to learn about the intricacies of deep tech research, product development, and strategy in a high-growth startup Work on the cutting edge of quantum technology Develop robust applications for translational research
