Production Technician

Job Responsibilities: Assist the production team in the assembly of wire harnesses according to work instructions, drawings, and quality standards. Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, taping, and cable assembly using appropriate tools and equipment. Prepare materials and components required for production. Support machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting for production equipment. Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality requirements. Report any quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or material shortages to the Production Supervisor. Assist in testing finished wire harness assemblies using designated testing equipment. Ensure accurate completion of production records and documentation. Maintain good housekeeping and comply with 5Spractices and workplace safety regulations. Assist with stock movement and inventory control of production materials when required. Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Manager. Requirements: NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent technical qualification (preferred). Good eyesight, no color blindness Experience in wire harness assembly or electronics manufacturing is an advantage. Able to read basic engineering drawings and work instructions. Familiar with hand tools, crimping tools, and measuring instruments. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Able to work independently as well as in a team environment 5-day work Mon to Fri - 8am to 5.30pm, aircon environment 13th month AWS, variable bonus, dental claim, Health Insurance Basic exclude monthly transport, performance and attendance allowance.
