Senior Chemist [West, Chemical Manufacturing]

Senior Chemist Industry: Industrial / Specialty Chemicals Employment Type: Full-time About the Company A well-established chemical trading and distribution company supplying industrial chemicals, solvents, specialty additives, surfactants, and water-treatment chemicals across multiple industries. We are seeking an experienced Senior Chemist to support technical operations, product evaluation, and customer applications. Key Responsibilities Evaluate chemical products including inorganic & organic chemicals, solvents, surfactants, acids, alkalis, and industrial additives. Provide technical support and application advice to customers. Handle product technical enquiries, MSDS, specifications, and performance issues. Conduct quality control testing for chemical batches and maintain laboratory documentation. Develop and test chemical formulations and support product improvement initiatives. Prepare and maintain SDS, COA, and technical datasheets. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (NEA, SCDF, MOM). Collaborate with sales, procurement, warehouse, and operations teams on technical matters. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial or specialty chemicals. Strong knowledge of solvents, surfactants, acids & alkalis, and chemical applications.
