We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Day Activity Centre (DAC) Associate Coach to help us create a nurturing environment where our clients can thrive. As a DAC Associate Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' development and well-being. Here are some key responsibilities that make this position both rewarding and fulfilling: Performance of Clients: · Implement and maintain a comprehensive system for administering Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Individual Care Plans (ICPs), attendance records, training programs, and other administrative tasks. · Design and lead therapeutic and training activities that are tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of our clients. · Develop and manage an inventory of training materials, ensuring that they are up-to-date and readily available. · Provide attentive supervision to clients during indoor and outdoor activities, prioritizing their safety and overall welfare. · Collaborate with supervisors and consultants to enhance supervision methods, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement. Welfare of Clients: · Take proactive measures to ensure the well-being and positive behavior of our clients, following the guidance and recommendations provided by supervisors and consultants. · Conduct pre- and post-agency visits for transfer cases, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity of care for our clients. · Regularly visit clients' homes to monitor their welfare and maintain a strong connection with their families. · Uphold high cleanliness and safety standards within the centre, creating a comfortable and secure environment for everyone. · Demonstrate utmost respect for client confidentiality, maintaining their privacy at all times. Documentation: · Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports, including IEPs, ICPs, progress reports, lesson plans, and incident reports, to the Head of Centre (HOC) and/or consultants. · Ensure meticulous record-keeping, documenting assessments, progress, and any relevant information to provide a comprehensive view of each client's learning journey. · Collect and analyze learning data, maintaining a well-organized documentation file that informs decision-making and supports individualized client support plans. Requirements: · At least an ITE Certification/O Level/A Level/ Diploma from a recognized educational institution · Relevant experience in the fields of Special Education, Nursing, Counselling or Care services is preferred · Experience in Community Service with exposure to youths / adults with autism is an added advantage · Compassionate and patient personality · Committed to the education and nurturing of youths / adults with autism · Working Location: Blk 351 Clementi Ave 2
