About this role
Pilot Drone pilot is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with UAV systems Job Summary: The Pilot is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with UAV systems Key Responsibilities: Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Integration of drones hardware systems Perform equipment/engineering systems setup Perform testing/calibration of components and systems Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of drones Applying relevant electrical skills in preparation of components Assist in trial support Configure and test drone hardware (e.g., sensors, payloads, cameras) prior to deployment. Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and ensure drone systems meet operational standards. Any other duties as assigned from supervisor from time to time Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering 0 to 2+ years of hands-on experience with drones/UAV systems. Ability to interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel and work in field environments Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of drone platforms such as DJI, Parrot, senseFly, or custom builds would be advantageous Familiarity with flight planning software (e.g., DroneDeploy, Pix4D, Litchi, QGroundControl) would be advantageous
