As a Drafter , you will take ownership of projects from planning to completion, working closely with clients, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. ________________________________________ What You’ll Be Doing · Prepare detailed CAD drawings and designs for water treatment systems (e.g. chemical dosing systems, RO skids, demineralisation plants, and piping systems) as well as air pollution control systems (e.g. scrubbers and ductwork). · Prepare and maintain mechanical drawing documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs). · Prepare and review General Arrangement (GA) and layout drawings for ducting, piping, and equipment. · Perform material take-offs based on P&ID, General Arrangement (GA), and Isometric (ISO)drawings. · Prepare 3D models and isometric drawings using CAD software (e.g. Cadworx, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor) where applicable. ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For · Diploma in Engineering, Professional Certificate, NITEC, or equivalent qualification. · Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in a relevant engineering environment. · Proficient in drafting software such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor; experience with Cadworx or equivalent software is an added advantage. · Experience in water treatment, oil & gas, petrochemical, power plant, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred. · Knowledge of mechanical drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, piping layouts, and material take-offs. · Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. ________________________________________ Why Join Us? · Career growth and advancement opportunities · Exposure to large-scale industrial engineering projects · Collaborative and supportive work culture · Competitive salary and employee benefits · A company that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement ________________________________________ About Us With over 20years of industry experience, Avon Industries has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering and manufacturing solutions.
