About this role

A Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve the company's sales targets and business objectives. The Sales Manager develops sales strategies, identifies new business opportunities, maintains strong relationships with existing customers, and ensures customer satisfaction at all times. The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all sales activities of the company. This includes setting sales goals, preparing sales forecasts, monitoring market trends, and implementing effective sales and marketing plans to increase revenue and profitability. The Sales Manager must regularly review sales performance and take corrective actions whenever necessary to ensure targets are achieved. The Sales Manager supervises, motivates, and trains sales staff to improve their performance and productivity. He or she conducts regular meetings with the sales team, evaluates individual performance, and provides guidance and support to help team members achieve their targets. The Sales Manager is also responsible for recruiting and developing new sales personnel when required. In addition, the Sales Manager prepares quotations, negotiates contracts, follows up on customer inquiries, and ensures timely collection of payments from clients. He or she must maintain accurate sales records, prepare periodic sales reports, and submit them to the management for review. The Sales Manager is expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners. He or she must represent the company professionally, handle customer complaints effectively, and ensure that the company's reputation is maintained at all times. The Sales Manager shall comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations and perform any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time. The Sales Manager is responsible for protecting the company's interests, maintaining confidentiality of business information, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
