Role Overview The Chief Financial Officer APAC is a key member of the ALT (Asia Pacific Leadership Team), responsible for driving financial strategy, governance, and performance across the organization. The role acts as a strategic partner to the CEO - APAC and business leadership team to enable sustainable growth, operational excellence and long-term value creation. Key Responsibilities: As a Member of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team: · Shape and execute the overall business strategy in alignment with organizational goals. · Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and engagement across the organization. · Act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the CEO – APAC in steering the Region. As CFO – APAC: 1. Financial Strategy & Business Performance · Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across the organization. · Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions, pricing, and growth initiatives. · Drive performance management through robust financial analysis and reporting. 2. Operational Efficiency & Transformation · Enhance cost discipline, productivity, and operational efficiency across functions. · Lead business transformation initiatives, including cost optimization and process improvement. · Drive standardization and scalability of finance processes and shared services. 3. Financial Governance, Risk & Compliance · Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting. · Oversee enterprise risk management (ERM) and internal controls framework. · Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements. · Act as a key interface with the Board and Audit Committee where required. 4. Capital Allocation & Balance Sheet Management · Define and execute capital allocation strategy, including capex, M&A, and working capital optimization. · Drive M&A activities including due diligence, valuation, integration, and synergy tracking. · Ensure optimal balance sheet structure to support growth and shareholder value. 5. People & Organization Leadership · Build and lead a high-performing APAC finance organization. · Develop leadership pipeline and succession planning for critical roles. · Strengthen capability of finance teams to act as strategic business partners. · Foster a unified “one finance organization” mindset across geographies. Scope Geographical Scope: Asia Pacific Qualifications & Skills · Education: Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred. · Finance Expertise: Strong background in FP&A, financial control, risk management, and business partnering. · Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar sectors preferred. · Leadership & Ownership: Proven ability to lead large, diverse, and geographically dispersed teams. · Digital & Strategic Capability: Experience in digital transformation, automation, and business model innovation.
