Job Purpose & Objectives The TAO will operate strictly as a regional, tactical executive office. Its primary mandate is to enable, facilitate, help, and support the business and support areas. While this office will not be the owner or directly responsible for the daily execution of activities—since that ownership will remain exactly where it has always been: within the local teams—its role will be to facilitate alignment, coordination, and follow-through across the three priority areas detailed below. The strategic value of the TAO will lie in prioritizing, coordinating, tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and escalating decisions whenever necessary to unblock processes. In addition to this operational mission, the TAO will play a crucial transversal role in driving our corporate culture, fostering an integrated, aligned, and collaborative "One Team" mindset across the entire Asian franchise. The ultimate goal of this transformation office is to support the transformation of the entire Asia region (including Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, etc.) to build a common agenda and ensure regional visibility. Key Responsibilities Priority 1: End-to-end operational improvement. The primary focus will be providing support to reduce operational friction and improve internal efficiency. This includes facilitating the simplification of processes (such as onboarding, e-signatures, and transactional operations), helping to coordinate incident management for the Asian time zone, and driving the integration of AI and automation to eliminate manual work and free up the teams' valuable time. Priority 2: Cross-border business agenda. The TAO will help coordinate and define more agile collaboration models between Asia and key geographies. The goal is to support the design of robust SLAs (covering response times, operational support, and incident resolution) so that cross-border business flows in a structured manner and no longer depends on informal relationships, ultimately making everyone's job easier. Priority 3: Product capabilities and the commercial proposition. Finally, the office will support the identification of which capabilities are critical to develop locally and which can be supported through global hubs (for example, in GTB, Cash Management, Global Markets, or sustainability). It will help secure the necessary sponsorship and buy-in from Madrid so we can better adapt to the specific needs of the Asian market.
