Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects; Analyze and evaluate project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and associated costs; Quantity Take-off Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations; Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive quantity assessments; Budgeting and Cost-control Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle; Monitor and report on cost variations, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures; Tendering and Procurement Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the procurement process; Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring competitiveness and adherence to project requirements; Contract Administration Administer and manage contracts related to MEP works, including variations and claims; Monitor contractual compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise during the project; Value Engineering Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality; Work closely with design and construction teams to implement value engineering recommendations; Risk Management Identify and assess potential risks related to cost and contract issues; Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success; Cost Reporting Generate regular cost reports to keep stakeholders informed of project financial status; Provide analysis and recommendations based on cost reporting data; Collaboration Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders; Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall success of the project; Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in MEP construction; Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices; Ad-Hoc Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work; O…
