Clinical Duties (Chairside Assistance/ Front Desk) Beam Dental Punggol, Contact: Mr Teo 93880054 Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures (sterilize and arrange instruments, set up materials). Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and retracting patients’ cheeks or tongue. Mix dental materials such as impression compounds, cements, or fillings. Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs). Maintain infection control by following sterilization and disinfection protocols. Record patient treatment information in charts or computer systems. Provide postoperative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist. Apply topical anesthetics or fluoride treatments (in some states/countries where permitted).
