Corporate Development Associate

Permanent headcount, based in Singapore In-house M&A role Candidates must have relevant 3-6 yrs of M&A Investment Banking experience, ideally in financial services/ banking/ fintech Responsibilities would include: Originate and execute principal M&A and strategic investment, alliances and joint ventures opportunities globally within financial services/ banking / fintech Acquisition and disposal of companies or banks, businesses, product or customer capabilities and portfolios to strengthen the core franchise of the bank Evaluate the performance of the Group and portfolio of businesses against its strategic ambitions, its own financial framework and market expectations Execute the analysis and presentation of the evaluation of transaction opportunities, produce financial analyses and valuation models for transactions as a basis for deal structuring and negotiation Review transaction opportunities aligned with the strategic agenda of the Group Work with Regional CEOs and Global Business CEOs to identify opportunities to initiate or exit corporate investments Work with Group functional leaders/ teams and external advisers on transaction execution Profile of ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 3-6 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance / M&A/ Corporate Development ideally within financial services/ banking/ fintech Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge Interested parties, please send your CV directly to cherrie@ethosbc.com Data collected is strictly used for recruitment purposes only and will be treated with strictest confidence.
