About this role
Sales executives are responsible for generating excellent sales and profits by leading a team who consist of senior and junior staff as well as promoters. They plan and manage sales activities, as well as enhance staff and promoters’ performance through motivational and disciplinary methods. Responsibilities Plan the duty roster of the staff and promoters working under his or her section. Propose promotional and sales strategies to enhance section sales Manage section and individual staff sales performance across various metrics (total sales, extended warranties sold et cetera) Execute improvement tactics if performance of section and individual staff fail to achieve daily and monthly targets Identify and correct behavioral and work performance issues of staff and promoters in the section. Coach staff and promoters to deliver outstanding customer service consistently and resolve customer inquiries promptly Perform monthly stock inventory checks and replenish merchandise to maintain stock availability Teach staff and promoters in the section to arrange and display merchandise neatly in the sales floor so as to generate more sales Assist staff and promoters who face challenges in resolving issues raised by customers Handle documentation related to purchase orders, purchase returns, and merchandise transfers Participate in on-the-job and external training sessions to improve product knowledge and selling skills Requirements Possesses at least 2 years of experience inleading a team of salesperson within the electronics/electrical appliances retail industry Able to work on weekends and public holidays Strong verbal and written communication skills to coach and motivate staff Strong decision making skills to revise strategies and implement new measures in response to section and individual staff performance.
