Automation Team Lead

Job Description: Responsible for Development of Machine Control software specification documents with attention to system integration and feasibility Responsible for the technical implementation of Machine Control software according to specifications, SW development best practices, BEUMER processes and in close co-ordination with the Main project and Software project Responsible for ensuring effective, economic and timely deliveries of the agreed scope and quality from the Machine Controls Department. Responsible to build and develop Machine Control software solutions within the following technology: S7 SIMATIC Manager, TIA Portal, S7 Distributed Safety, WinCC Responsible for planning and supervising the quality in the design and implementation through code reviews, Emulation & Equipment Test environment Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency of software with initial design Provide technical concepts and guidelines to the development team Responsible for planning, execution and supervising of Factory Acceptance Tests Approve final software before commissioning starts Participate in remote /on-site installation and commissioning of Machine Control system Responsible for planning, execution and supervising of tests (remote or on site) Oversee progress of commissioning team to ensure consistency of software with initial design Responsible to provide technical concepts and guidelines to the commissioning team Responsible for continuous improvement of Machine Control development process such as exploring newer technologies and innovations. Requirements: Degree in Electrical / Electronics /Mechatronics Engineering Professional Experience: Experience in automation industry control System. International Experience: Experience working in cross-cultural or international teams Siemens-S7 classic programming, Siemens TIA, Distributed Safety and HMI development Functional skills: PLC Code Design and Development Requirements Analysis Code Review and Quality Assurance Test Planning and Execution Customer Engagement Problem Solving Soft skills: Effective Communication Team Collaboration Time Management Leadership Adaptability Technical Learning and Knowledge Sharing
