Laboratory Operations Assistant [Up to $3,200 per month | 12-Months Contract] Job Description We are looking for a Laboratory Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of a laboratory team. This role is suitable for candidates who are detail-oriented, organised, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in laboratory administration, sample management, and operational support. You will work closely with the laboratory team to ensure smooth workflows, accurate documentation, and timely coordination of daily activities. Job Details Contract Duration: 12 months Working Hours: Monday to Friday Non-shift days: 8.00am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 6.00pm Shift days: 12.00pm/12.30pm to 9.30pm Nearest MRT: Novena MRT Station Salary: Up to $18.50/hour (Approximately $3,200 per month) Key Responsibilities Support daily laboratory operations and ensure processes are carried out according to established quality and compliance requirements Coordinate sample reception activities and oversee workflow management to support timely processing Manage courier arrangements and liaise with service providers to ensure smooth sample transportation Handle data processing tasks, including reviewing records, updating information, and performing data entry into relevant systems Maintain accurate documentation and records related to laboratory operations Provide administrative support for finance and procurement activities to support ongoing laboratory needs Assist with other operational tasks and duties assigned by the team Requirements / Preferred Qualifications Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Laboratory Science, Healthcare-related fields, or equivalent disciplines Prior experience in laboratory operations, healthcare administration, data entry, or similar support roles will be advantageous Good attention to detail with strong organisational and coordination skills Comfortable working in a laboratory environment and handling operational responsibilities Willingness to perform rotational shift work when required Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members By submitting your resume or personal data, you consent to BGC Group Pte Ltd collecting, using, and disclosing your personal data to our clients and partners for the purpose of evaluating your suitability for job opportunities and related recruitment services.
